Holy buckets, our annual meeting is upon us! Let's use this post to discuss the following:

Potluck - What are you bringing? Even if you just narrow it down to main dish, side dish, dessert - please let us know. I'm thinking I'll update either this post or perhaps one right below with what's coming to give people an idea.

If you're not so much of a cook, we could also use someone to bring plates, napkins, glasses, plasticware (or there may be a brave soul offering silverware . . .) etc. I plan to bring my own water bottle, and I'm sure we can get tap water at the church, though someone could volunteer to bring drinks, too.

More importantly, I need some help with setup and cleanup. I'm not sure at all how our room is going to be or what needs to be done, but I'm shooting to be there at least by 10 (half an hour early - hopefully earlier!). We need a lot of people to storm the capitol after our meeting, BUT many hands will make light work and I remember there being about six hands last year and we could've used a few more! I'm hoping that this year we can zip through a bunch of it and perhaps a few stragglers can finish it up.

MOST importantly, we need around 3 or 4 (?) people to help with childcare. As it stands now, there are 2 babies, two 1-2 year olds (I'm not actually bringing mine, I just put her there so I could see the results), three three year olds, and a couple that are 5+ that I'm pretty sure are going to be rather self-sufficient. HELP HELP HELP!

I'm bringing my three year old, my 19 month old, and coming with a friend and her 2 year old. We'll pitch in to pay for child care. Should we bring toys? Have we found enough babysitters? Maybe those with kids in the childcare room could swap-out every 15 minutes, two at a time? That way, everyone only misses only some of the meeting? Is that crazy?

I can come early and stay late to help with set-up and clean-up... But, I think EVERYONE should help with clean-ip, then we can just head over to the capitol as a big group. Anyone second the motion?

I'm bringing corn and bean spicy salsa with chips.
